General terms of delivery

General delivery and payment conditions Expertisecentrum Podotherapie KVK no: 17220761
The conditions below apply unconditionally to all treatment agreements between patient and practitioner, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Dutch law applies to all assignments/agreements.

Payment

Treatment and/or provision will be billed by infomedics.nl to the patient, or to the patient's legal representative. The invoice amount must be credited to the Infomedics bank account within 30 days of the invoice date. If this payment term is exceeded, the patient is legally in default and Infomedics is entitled to proceed to collection measures without further notice. The resulting additional costs will be charged to the patient. For a quick and error-free settlement, we advise the patient to always pay the Infomedics amount first before submitting it to your own health insurance company for possible reimbursement.

The cost of treatment for a patient under 16 years of age is payable by the legal representative. A patient aged 16 or 17 is liable for the cost of treatment himself, unless the legal representative has confirmed in writing to pay the costs.

Reimbursement

You must take care of any claim for our invoice with your own health insurance company. You are responsible for claiming reimbursement from your health insurer. We cannot guarantee reimbursement. In practice, most insurers appear to provide full or partial reimbursement. Different conditions may apply to patients with diabetes mellitus. We advise you to consult the policy conditions.

Cancellation

Appointments made (verbally or by telephone) can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance. We reserve the right to charge for appointments that are missed without timely cancellation or cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment.

The podiatrist has an obligation of effort and not an obligation of result. With this, the podiatrist undertakes to act to the best of his ability. However, no guarantee can be given about the effect of the therapy. Insufficient results do not entitle you to a refund or exemption from payment. You are obliged to reimburse all costs incurred by us. Verbal consent or signing after the examination in which you agree to the manufacture of therapeutic soles or orthoses is valid. After the examination, the manufacture of these therapeutic aids will be started immediately. In case of cancellation, all costs incurred by us will be charged to you.

Complaints

Our specialists undertake to act to the best of his or her ability. To ensure quality and service, all our podiatrists are members of the Dutch Association of Podiatrists (NVvP) and are registered with the Paramedics Quality Register as quality registrants. Our registered podiatrists are all registered with the LOOP foundation.

Soles and orthoses are therapeutic aids, therefore no guarantee can ever be given on the effect of these aids. Adjustments of soles/ortheses within 6 weeks of delivery fall within the warranty and are therefore not charged.

In addition, all our pedicures are members of ProVoet and are registered with the Quality Register for Pedicures (KRP). Unsatisfactory results of treatment do not entitle you to a refund or exemption from payment under any circumstances.

Should there be any complaints, these should first be discussed with the practitioner and a solution will be sought.
